This program was formulated in Melbourne by Dr. Alan Ong, a victim of male pattern baldness himself. Now this program is available in Australia and overseas through Bioscor International. Bioscor International offers a highly effective medically supervised natural hair regrowth program with NO surgery involved. The treatment includes the use of a unique blend of medications, vitamins and herbs to revitalise the scalp and to stimulate the regrowth of your hair. Our program is directed at stimulating follicular activity and moving your hair back into the anagenic (growth) phase.

Bioscor’s hair program is effective for any form of Non-Scarring Alopecia that can be caused or aggravated by a number of factors. These include:

Genetic predisposition to hair loss (Androgenetic Alopecia or male/female pattern baldness)
Hormonal dysfunction (i.e. Hypothyroidism)
Auto-immune (Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, Ophiasis Inversus)
Nutritional and mineral deficiencies (i.e. Dieting, Iron deficiency)
Pregnancy

Results :
Beneficial results should be visible within 3 months. The duration of treatment will vary depending on the cause of hair loss. Hair loss associated with stress or as a consequence of general medical or a local scalp problem usually does not require maintenance treatment once causative factors are dealt with. Genetically determined hair loss (e.g. male pattern baldness) will normally require on-going maintenance therapy.

Factors affecting Hair Regrowth Gender : Men and Women have different hormones, and thus may have slightly different reactions to treatment.

Age : The younger the better your chances are for optimal rejuvenation.

Severity of Hair Loss : Don't wait till too much damage has been done. Early treatment has higher chances of success.

Compliance to Program : Consistency breeds success. Adhering to the program would help ensure optimal hair rejuvenation.

The program consists of a Hair Kit that is to be used by the client at home. It is designed to be hassle-free with minimal steps involved. The Hair Kit consists of the following products.

In-House Hair Treatment:

As a part of the program, Bioscor offers an In-House Hair Treatment that is designed to attain better and faster results by promoting maximum absorption of the hair kit products. It is recommended that treatment be done once a week for the first month, once a fortnight for the second month, and then once a month thereafter for maintenance. The In-House Hair Treatment is a relaxing half hour session consisting of the following steps:

1. Deep Cleansing Scalp Treatment
Uses high pressure water jets to remove waxy debris & toxic chemicals from hair follicles & increases scalp circulation.

2. Scalp Chemical Peel
Dissolves sebum (fatty acids, cholesterol & dead cells) that block & damage hair follicles. It sloughs off dead skin cells and opens up pores to gain better absorption of products into the hair follicles.

3. Hair Treatment
The treatment deposits agents that counteract the effects of Dehydrotestosterone (DHT) into the pores to discourage further deposition of sebum and also agents that eliminate inflammation and dandruff and stimulate hair follicular activity.

4. Mesotherapy
This process is sometimes alternated with Step 3 (Hair Treatment), depending on hair status, and involves introducing nutrients directly into the scalp by way of fine needling.
