Breast Implant

The purpose is to change the shape of and/or enlarge the breasts, or repair breasts
after surgery or trauma.

The process starts with you coming in for an initial consultation. During this time,
you will be able to have a detailed discussion with the doctor and have all the
necessary information provided to you in details. This includes discussion of the
patient's concern, medical history, examination of the area, as well as that of the
implants (size and shape), side effects, recovery, and also the cost.

The procedure will take approximately three hours to perform; it is done under a
combination of sedation and local anaesthesia in our modern and fully-equipped
operating theatre. Patients can go home afterwards, to come back the next day to
change the dressings and review.

The implants are textured, cohesive-gel silicone implants, that can be placed above
or below the chest muscle depending on what is decided during consultation.
