SmartLipo is a short pulse Nd:YAG system that is used in laser assisted liposculpture. Traditional liposuction involves a vacuum pump inserted undearneath the skin and sucking
out the fat. This procedure is highly traumatic and can produce side effects like swelling and
blood loss etc. Another disadvantage is the limited possibility of modelling the treated areas.

SmartLipo works differently by using the laser to destroy the cell membranes of fat tissue. They break down and are transformed into an oily substance that is immediately absorbed
and eliminated in a natural manner. At the end of the treatment the fatty tissues are more
compact, with greater suppleness and less surface unevenness.
