The procedures below are available at Bioscor for the treatment of dilated leg veins
(spider veins, varicose veins) and broken capillaries.

1) Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a simple and relatively painless procedure where the veins are injected
with a sclerosing solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view. After each
sclerotherapy session, the veins will appear lighter. Two or more sessions are usually
required to achieve optimal results.

2) IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

This is a light-based treatment that is safe and effective for the removal of spider
veins. The advanced IPL treatments allow for delivery of a precise dosage of energy to
each vein, with minimal risk to the skin. During your treatment, light energy is
delivered through a special handpiece with filters to the targeted vein, in a series of
short and/or long pulses. The light energy is absorbed by the blood vessels. This heat
absorption causes a thermocoagulation (clogging) of the blood vessel, and a gradual
absorption by the body.

3) Laser treatment (Cutera Xeo)

The Cutera 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser has proved to be an effective treatment for treating
leg vascular conditions — including the clinically challenging deep reticular vessels
on the lower extremities. Deeper penetration and a more moderate hemoglobin absorption
makes 1064 nm wavelength more useful for the deeper vessels. Further, with the right
combination of parameters, the 1064 nm wavelength is also suitable for more superficial
telangiectases and spider veins on both the face and legs.
