What is it?

Moles (also called naevi) are areas of pigmented (or sometimes non-pigmented and raised)
skin. Raised or flat, moles can be present from birth or can appear later in life. Most
moles are harmless, but you may wish to have a mole removed for cosmetic reasons.

Unwanted protruding moles and skin tags can be removed by a simple and delicate
radiofrequency shave procedure by our Cosmetic Doctor.

Your moles will firstly be checked, and where suspicious, a sample may be taken to a
laboratory for testing.

The procedure takes a short time, and requires only a small local anaesthetic. It takes
approximately 15 minutes to perform, after which a small dressing is applied. Mole
